History of popcorn rich in health is 10 thousand years old, know how the journey of this taste started
If you feel like chewing something crisp and full of health, what better than popcorn! Over time, popcorn has taken many forms in terms of taste and methods of cooking it. Although people still inflate them on gas or stove, but nowadays it has become even easier due to microwave.

Popcorn made from corn grains is not as new a snack as we seem. They have been in domestic use since about 10,000 years ago and archaeologists have discovered that people have been eating popcorn for several thousand years. The journey of its taste had started with the only salt, but now its varied taste will fill you with surprise.

Especially some very interesting flavours, like Chili Cheese, Salted Caramel, Brownie Popcorn and so on. Putting some more light on such a variety of popcorn, executive chef Ishijyot Suri says, "Corn grains are divided into yellow and white. And there will be diversity in each of them. Yellow popcorn is available in two sizes - baby corn and big corn.

It has a special taste. The white granule becomes smaller than the yellow one and has a taste that is not felt separately. For this reason, when it comes to mixing with other food items, these are chosen.

Variety in flavours
Just as it is the matter of eating a little something, popcorn is now being used in the food items like wafers by going out of the halls of films. People are using popcorns on picnics, packing food, during long car drives or in children's snack boxes, after school snacks. Chef Manish Khanna believes that you can do a lot of experimenting at home with popcorn and you can eat it as you like.

In his words, 'Some such fun flavours can include smoked paprika and spice, buttered maple and spice, salt and vinegar, sesame and fish sauce, garlic salt sprinkle, sesame seeds sprinkle and wasabi edamame.' Amay Mahajani is a Consultant Chef. He says, "There are some flavours that I would like to try myself, such as olive oil and rock salt butter; Pamazan and Rosemary; Nori and Toasted Cesmi; Bacon and Garlic Powder; Salted and Spicy Peanuts; Sour Cream and Onions; Smoked Cheddar & Barbecue; Honey Mustard and Gelpino and Chili and Lemon.

Another great thing about it is that you can eat it without worrying about calories because it is not made by frying. Chef Suri says, "Along with traditional ingredients such as salt, caramel and cheese, you can also use whipped cream to make caramel popcorn. Or you can add berries to it.

Sweet Flavors -
Chef Khanna explains, "In addition to flavoured popcorn, it is also used in our cooks to make fried meats. And is also used in chocolate sauces, Rocky Road Brownies, and other such sweet dishes. ’To make something sweet, they can be made into protein bars, granola bars, caramel popcorn brownies or butter toffee popcorn tarts. Chef Suri says that if you are bored with a taste of popcorn or plain food, you can make many dishes from it.

He says, 'You can use popcorn as the main ingredient or mix it with the rest to make something sweet or something tasty. Chocolate chip cookies, blended in ice cream mixes, dark chocolate popcorn brownies, granola bars with popcorn, popcorn and oats porridge, pitta pocket sandwiches of chicken and popcorn are my favourite flavour.
